From September 15 to 18 (local time in France), the 35th IFSCC Congress 2025 was held in Cannes, organized by the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) and hosted by SCC France. As a Gold Level Benefactor of IFSCC, Proya Cosmetics showcased 14 major scientific achievements, drawing wide attention across the global beauty industry. Among them, a groundbreaking study on mitochondrial anti-aging earned Proya Cosmetics the "IFSCC 2025 Top 10 Papers of Basic Research Award". Proya Cosmetics is not only the sole Chinese cosmetics company to receive this award in 2025, but also the best result ever achieved by a Chinese enterprise in a global cosmetics competition to date.
The study, jointly conducted by Proya Cosmetics and Zhejiang University, leveraged AI-driven deep learning technology to efficiently screen active compounds with the potential to enhance mitochondrial function and delay skin aging. The findings were further validated through high-throughput image analysis and biological experiments, confirming their remarkable efficacy. Building on this groundbreaking discovery, the research team successfully developed a compound formula - Cellergy pro™, which demonstrates remarkable anti-aging efficacy. It effectively enhances energy metabolism in damaged cells, repairs mitochondrial structural abnormalities, and improves multiple signs of skin aging. Currently, the Cellergy pro™ compound formula has been incorporated into PROYA’s newly upgraded Inaugurating Intensive Anti-wrinkle Series 2.0, launched in August this year.
